Campsites: Located in the Ouachita Mountains on Lake Greeson, Daisy State Park offers lake view campsites. The park features a total of 103 campsites. Campsites: DeGray Lake Resort State Park, Arkansas’ water sports and golf resort, features 113 Class B sites complete with two trailer sanitary stations. Jacksonport State Park

Campsites: Stay at this park that occupies the site of a thriving 1800s river port, and enjoy one of its campsites that are set along the bank of the White River. Lake Catherine State Park

Campsites: Lake Catherine State Park offers the only campsites on 1,940-acre Lake Catherine, one of the renowned Diamond Lakes near Hot Springs. Seventy park campsites include either a lake or woods view. Of these, 47 sites also include sewer and 50 amp service. The park also offers one Rent-A-Camp and one Rent-A-Yurt. Lake Catherine State Park

Cabins: At this peaceful park in the Ouachita Mountains on 1,940-acre Lake Catherine, 20 cabins are spaced along the lakeshore. These fully-equipped rental cabins, featuring a variety of designs, all offer a lake view. Every cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen. Most cabins have one bedroom. The park’s only two-bedroom cabin is barrier-free design. Some of the cabins have screened-in porches. Many of these cabins feature wood-burning fireplaces, too. The park’s five rustic-style cabins, one-bedroom cabins were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) from 1937-1942. Among the park's CCC works are two rustic studio cabins with kitchenettes in a duplex unit on the lakeshore that were created when the park's historic CCC barrack was restored. Lake Charles State Park

Campsites: Campers can choose between 23 Class AAA sites, 37 Class B sites, or two Rent-A-Yurt and two Rent-An-RV, each a permanently set-up 28-foot camper with all the amenities of home and none of the worries. Campers, anglers and nature lovers will all enjoy this park on the shore of Lake Charles, 645 acres of spring-fed waters in the northeastern foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Lake Dardanelle State Park

Campsites: You can enjoy a relaxing stay along the banks of Lake Dardanelle at Lake Dardanelle State Park. The park offers two separate camping areas on the lake. Choose onne of the 57 campsites in the main park in Russellville or one of the 18 campsites in the Dardanelle area. Campsites include 30 or 50 amp hookups, water connections and modern bathhouses. Wireless internet is also available. A trailer dump station is centrally located at both the Russellville and Dardanelle areas. Both camping areas are open throughout the year. Park interpreters offer nature programs and tours at the campground amphitheater throughout the year. Lake Ouachita State Park

Campsites: Surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest, Lake Ouachita is known for its scenic natural beauty and the clarity of its waters, which attract scuba divers, anglers, boaters, and other water sports enthusiasts. Including lakesides campsites, the campgrounds at Lake Ouachita State Park include 101 campsites (40 Class AAA, 26 Class B, 25 Class D, and 12 Hike-in Tent Sites. Lake Poinsett State Park

Campsites: The natural beauty of Crowley's Ridge provides the scenic backdrop for Lake Poinsett State Park, which offers 29 campsites including four Class A (water and 50 amp electrical), 22 Class B (tent pad, water, 30 amp electrical) and three Class D (tent pads) sites. Each site has a charcoal grill, fire ring, and lantern hook. The park also offers picnic areas, a standard pavilion (screened with restrooms), boat launch ramp, boat rentals, and interpretive programs. Petit Jean State Park

Campsites: The campgrounds at Petit Jean State Park feature a total of 125 campsites including 35 Class AAA and 90 Class B. Located near Lake Bailey, the campgrounds offer some sites that are near the water and others with woods' views. For camping enthusiasts, the park also offers a Group Camp Area, Rally-style Area, and four Rent-A-Yurt. The park's airport [374-5022] , open for daytime use only, feature five Fly-in Tent Sites with electricity and water. Petit Jean State Park

Cabins: Near historic Mather Lodge are 33 fully-equipped park cabins (21 include kitchens) for rent, many of which share the same bluff with views of Cedar Creek Canyon. Most are rustic-style cabins that were built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) that today offer all modern conveniences. A few are modern duplex designs. Petit Jean State Park

Lodge: The focal point of the Adirondack-style park architecture at Petit Jean State Park is historic Mather Lodge, the park's mountain lodge on the bluff of scenic Cedar Creek Canyon. Village Creek State Park

Campsites: Village Creek State Park offers 96 campsites [24 Class AAA, five Class A and 67 Class B sites (for RVs, tents, and horse campers)]. Each campsite offers dual voltage electrical outlets, freeze-resistant water hookups, a table and fire-pit with grill. Five modern bathhouses, two sanitary trailer stations, a swimming beach, playground, boat dock and launch ramp are conveniently located in or near the campgrounds. Village Creek State Park

Cabins: Nestled in the woods along a ridge near Lake Dunn are 10 modern housekeeping cabins (one, two and three bedrooms; one two-bedroom unit is barrier-free). These fully-equipped cabins include kitchen utensils and linens, plus central heat and air for year-round comfort. Woodburning fireplaces, ceiling fans, televisions, screened-in porches, picnic tables, and grills make these cabins the perfect place for a weekend or weeklong getaway. Just minutes away are the park's seven miles of hiking and 25 miles of multi-use trails. Fish in two lakes. Swim in Lake Austell. The park's 27-hole, golf course designed by Andy Dye features a PGA-caliber championship layout. The rolling terrain of Crowley's Ridge, including dramatic elevation changes, makes for challenging play at this outstanding public course. White Oak Lake

Campsites: On the shore of 1,700-acre Lower White Oak Lake, this park features 45 campsites. Of these, 37 have 30 amp power and four offer 50 amp service, too. Four sites are tent camping and include water only. Like these campsites, the park bathhouse and restrooms remain open throughout the year, too. A trailer sanitary dump station is near the bathhouse. Just minutes away are the park's hiking trails. The park marina offers fishing boat, party barge, pedal boat, canoe, and kayak rentals. Withrow Springs State Park
